A Movies of Assassin's Creed

A movie that perfectly portrayed the game. The nods to the original games and "challenges" was awesome for AC fans. Those that never played the games, clearly wouldn't have picked up on those.



The best video game based movie. The movie that truly broke the stigma surrounding video game-based movies.

As much as I loved this movie, I think a better approach going forward would be a Netflix or HBO series. There's so much potential for storytelling with the AC franchise — a movie just isn't the right format. It's too short. A Netflix or HBO series would allow for more story/character development, plus it would reach millions of people who would never pay for an AC movie ticket — which would be a great way to promote AC to a wider audience. Each season could be in a different setting (time period, location, new characters, etc.)
